DESCRIPTION:I will be running an Ubuntu install workshop on July 11th. I w
 ill be bringing a bunch of desktop systems into the lab and having partici
 pants walk together with me through the process of installing Ubuntu 12.04
  on said computers.\n\nThe purpose of this workshop is to teach people som
 e basic terminology and concepts that they can apply to their general comp
 uting knowledge\, including but not limited to:\n\n* You can boot computer
 s from CD!\n** And how to do it\n* Operating Systems exist!\n** And there 
 are more than one\n* Hard drives can be partitioned!\n* Computers can boot
  more than one OS!\n\nI expect the workshop to run from approximately 19:0
 0 to 21:00.\n\nThis workshop is targeted at computing novices\, but will l
 ikely also have some useful information for intermediate-level users.\n\n-
