DESCRIPTION:The Michigan Local Community Team will be participating in the
  Ubuntu\nGlobal Jam on October 3rd.\n\nWhat is the Ubuntu Global Jam? Esse
 ntially it is a time when the various\nLoCo teams get together and jam out
  at what ever they have interest in.\nSo some will be having Bug Jams\, ot
 hers Packaging Jams\, or even\nTranslation Jams. More info here: https://w

 oing at OUR Jam? We'll that's up\nto you\, really! So far we have interest
  in both a Bug Jam and a Packaging\nJam. The Bug Jam will consist of an in
 troduction to bug triage [0] and\nthen plenty of times for Q&A/self-explor
 ation/team learning.\n\nThe Packaging Jam crew will be available to help p
 eople get the hang of\npackaging Ubuntu .debs [1] and by the end of the da
 y I'm sure there will\nbe a few new\, or updated\, software packages.\n\nA
 nd\, of course\, as it is a Jam\, we're open to other ideas!\n\nWith all o
 f this going on it is sure to be a great time!\n\n==Here are the important
