A bug-fixing jam. We will be doing general universe archive improvement, with a small emphasis towards scientific packages.
Anyone is welcome to come, we can teach whatever you need to know. Bring a laptop running Ubuntu if you can (bonus points for having a oneiric install).
The global jam will be about 6 weeks before release, so it's time to add some polish to Ubuntu.
For the work I have in mind, if you have driven a C / C++ compiler before and are comfortable on the command line, you can almost certainly fix some packages. If you haven't you can learn :) or test some packages and help us find issues to work on. |
