During the Ubuntu Global Jam, teams get together to contribute to Ubuntu. This is before Feature Freeze, so you can give a hand with code, or you can maybe help improve documentation. Or maybe you want to do some design? It's all up to you!
The Ubuntu community has been growing each cycle, and for the Vivid cycle there are more activities you can check. For a list of all activities, please check community.ubuntu.com. Over there, you will be able to find all the areas in which the Ubuntu community has presence. If you or someone else is interested in an specific area, just check the details on community.ubuntu.com page. Most teams have either a mailing list or an IRC channel where you can contact them and you can continue contributing - even if the Global Jam is over!
Also, if you have any questions about the Global Jam itself, please make sure to check https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGlobalJam. This page will contain suggestions and steps you can take for each of the activities that you could do!
Finally, if you need a hand with anything, please let the LoCo Council know by sending them an email to loco-council@lists.ubuntu.com.
27 people from 15 LoCos and 6 countries are participating in this event!
