Ubuntu Installation Festival
Upgrade your computer to the Free operating system everyone is talking about. Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" is available now and the Local Australian Ubuntu Community Team is holding an installation festival in Brisbane this school holidays.
Bring a computer you don't mind wiping (or have enough space to install another operating system) and be prepared to learn and be impressed in a supportive and fun environment. If you don't want to bring in a computer but still want to learn there will be a schedule of introductory talks throughout the day with plenty of Q&A time. There will also be light refreshments provided.
