An Ubuntu Global Jam event focused on Quality Assurance/Testing of ISO images and packages for the Xubuntu project. No prior knowledge is required, a basic presentation will kick off the event. While Xubuntu is our focus, the tools and skills learned at this event can also be used for testing Ubuntu and all other flavors.

If you're able and wish to participate in testing directly, please bring along a laptop. Live testing is sufficient, so there is no need to reinstall the hardware you bring along.

ALL attendees will get their choice of a copy of one of the following Ubuntu books:

• The Official Ubuntu Book, 8th Edition (signed by one of the authors)


• A Practical Guide to Ubuntu Linux, 4th Edition (signed by the author)


• Ubuntu Unleashed 2015 Edition

Plus Ubuntu stickers and pens! Food and refreshments will also be provided.
