  There are several items with maintenance in a regular basis: Website content, administration and moderation in the mailing list, IRC channel, LoCoTeam forum, TeamReports registration, talks and lecturers registration, RPs organization, promotional tasks for future events, etc. The main idea is to make little groups, two members in each one at least, to manage the area in charge.
