Kitchener Ubuntu Hour

Misty Mountain is a new coffee shop that opened up right beside the Working Centre’s Queen Street Commons cafe. Besides coffee, MM offers Bubble tea, sandwiches, iced tea, and muffins. I’ll have a small Ubuntu sign (thanks Bob Jonkman) and several official Ubuntu/Kubuntu and 64bit server CDs to distribute (courtesy of Darcy Casselman and Kwartzlab).

I’ll also be packing my non-stickered lenovo notebook. I can speak a bit about XBMC, using Ubuntu to refurbish computers, Gimp, Inkscape, and recent experiments with OpenShot and green screening. Please feel free to bring your notebooks. The cafe has an open wireless connection.
