Gallaudet University is the world's only accredited liberal arts university for deaf students. The campus also houses an elementary school and high school for deaf students. The university is located about 1/2 mile east of the NY Avenue / FL Avenue / Gallaudet Metro station (Red Line) and is also on the "90" bus line. There is also a campus shuttle running between the metro station, Union Station, and the university.
